
Pats win Back-to-Back Games

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - 17 year old Regina Pats goaltender Damien Ketlo was stellar between the pipes in Saskatoon, stopping 31 of 34 Saskatoon Blades shots in a 4-3 Pat win. Newly acquired forward Mitch Czibere scored the winner late in the second period and for the second night in a row, Rudolf Cerveny had a multi-point game with a pair of goals.
With the back to back wins over the Blades, the blue and white finish the pre-season with a 5-and-2 mark. The regular season will finally kick-off Friday night in Brandon, hooking up with the Wheat Kings. The home opener is Sunday afternoon at 2pm, and the Wheatties will pay a visit to the Brandt Centre, for tickets to the home opener or to reserve your seat for the whole season, call 522-PATS.
