The Blue Jays selected the contract of Bisons INF CHRIS GETZ. Getz led the Bisons with a .309 average and had hits in 11 of his last 12 games with the Herd. Toronto also announced that they have released Buffalo RHP MICKEY STOREY, who had posted a 10.80 ERA in four relief appearances this season.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (12-13) were off on Monday night. Toronto opens up an eight-game roadtrip with a three-game set in Kansas City. Former Bison Dustin McGowan gets the start tonight for the Blue Jays with an 8:10 p.m. first pitch.
