Knights Postponed in Rochester on Tuesday

(Rochester, NY) - Tuesday's game between the Charlotte Knights and Rochester Red Wings scheduled for 11:35 a.m. from Frontier Field in Rochester, NY was postponed due to inclement weather. With Tuesday's game being the final one played in Rochester between the two teams this season, the game will be made up at BB&T Ballpark as part of a doubleheader in June. The two teams have a scheduled four-game series at BB&T Ballpark from June 3-6. A makeup date will be announced at a later time.
The Knights have a scheduled off day on Wednesday before opening up a four-game series with the Buffalo Bisons from Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, NY on Thursday. Game one of the series starts at 7:05 p.m. and all of the action can be heard on the ESPN 730 AM -- the Charlotte Knights Radio Network. The "Voice of the Charlotte Knights" Matt Swierad will have the call beginning at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday.
The Knights return home to BB&T Ballpark on Cinco De Mayo (Monday, May 5) and open an eight-game homestand. Charlotte will welcome WWE Hall-of-Famer Tito Santana to the ballpark to meet and greet fans and sign autographs. Fans can also enjoy $1 hot dogs courtesy of Sahlen's. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. on Monday.
