Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Durham Bulls in the second game of a four-game set at Durham Bulls Athletic Park (7:05 p.m.). Buffalo won the opener of their seven-game roadtrip with last night's 3-0 shutout. The Herd has won three straight for the first time in 2016 and are now 9-8 on the road this season.

Last Game (BUF 3, DUR 0)

RHP Arnold Leon retired the first 12 batters he faced to pick up his first Bisons win in the Herd's 3-0 victory. Leon struck out seven with RHP Chris Leroux adding six more punchouts over three innings. RHP David Aardsma completed the two-hit shutout with his fourth save of the season. INF Jesus Montero had three hits and drove in two.

vs. Durham (1-0)

The Bisons and Bulls will meet six times this season with Durham visiting Coca-Cola Field, June 13-15. Durham Bulls. Buffalo has not won a season series against the Bulls since going 5-3 against Durham in 2006.

Drew Hutchison

RHP Drew Hutchison makes his seventh start of the season tonight and his sixth away from Coca-Cola Field. The righty has a 3.38 ERA on the road this season and threw six innings of one-run baseball in his last road test, April 29 in Lehigh Valley. Despite 30 Major League wins, Hutchison is still in search of his first career Triple-A victory.

Swing and a Miss

Bisons pitchers have struck out 27 batters in the last two games, while yielding just five hits and one walk. That equates to a .082 batting average, a .097 on-base pct. and a .115 slugging pct. in the two games.

Matt Dominguez

INF Matt Dominguez has picked up right where he left off since returning from a nine-day stint with the Blue Jays, April 26-May 4. He has hit in four of his five games since his return and now has collected a hit in 12 of his last 13 games with the Herd. Since April 17, the infielder has averaged .400 (20-50) with three home runs and 12 RBI.

David Adams

INF David Adams' 10-game hit streak is the 3rd-longest active streak in the International League. Not only has the veteran hit .480 (12-25) during the stretch since April 24, but he has also walked seven times for an incredible .594 on-base pct.

Bisons Bits

The Bisons are a perfect 10-0 when outhitting their opponents...Buffalo hit into three doubleplays last night and have now hit into the 3rd-most (31) twin-killings in the IL.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (17-17) defeated the Giants, 3-1, late last night. DH Edwin Encarnacion hit his sixth home run of the season and former Bisons RHP Aaron Sanchez allowed just three hits over seven innings of one-run baseball. Toronto now sits three games back in the AL East. LHP J.A. Happ puts his 4-0 record on the line in San Francisco tonight at 10:15 p.m.
