SYRACUSE, NY - The Buffalo Bisons picked up a run in the eighth and ninth innings, breaking their four-game losing skid in a 4-2 win over the Syracuse Mets on Friday evening at NBT Bank Stadium.

Charles McAdoo blasted a solo shot in the top of the eighth to give Buffalo a 3-2 lead. It was McAdoo's only hit of the game and his second home run of the series. His first came in the Bisons' 9-5 loss to Syracuse on Tuesday.

Buffalo struck first in the top of the first inning. Willie MacIver drove a double into right field to drive in Carlos Mendoza and RJ Schreck.

Yonny Hernández helped Syracuse cut the lead in half in the bottom of the second. Hernández hit a sac-fly to center field, allowing Ji Hwan Bae to score.

In the next inning, Ryan Clifford tied the game for the Mets at two apiece. Clifford launched a sac-fly into deep right field to drive Jared Young across home plate.

The next four innings were scoreless for both teams. Devereaux Harrison didn't allow a hit in two and two-thirds of those innings, striking out three and walking one.

Buffalo snapped the tie in the top of the eighth inning. On a full count, McAdoo homered towards left field to give Buffalo a 3-2 lead.

The Bisons tacked onto their lead in the ninth thanks to Josh Kasevich. Kasevich drove in Josh Rivera on a fielder's choice.

Buffalo and Syracuse are scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch on Saturday for game five of the series. The Mets lead the series 3-1. Austin Voth will start on the mound for the Bisons. Pregame coverage on The Bet 1520 AM, the Audacy app, and Bisons.com begins broadcast coverage at 6:15 p.m.
