Jonathan Davis and Patrick Kivlehan each had two home runs, including back-to-back homers in the sixth, and a combined eight RBIs to lead the Bisons' offense. Sam Travis, Rusney Castillo, and Bryce Brentz each had a long ball for Pawtucket but it wasn't enough to push past the Bisons.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (5-9)

Buffalo and the RailRiders are meeting for second series in Moosic this season. Scranton has already completed the season series at Sahlen Field for 2019, with a four-game set still in tap at PNC Field August 30-September 2.

Today's Starter

LHP Ryan Feierabend takes the mound for the Herd in his eighth start of the year. Thomas Pannone

LHP Thomas Pannone picked up his first win in his third appearance with the Bisons in 2019. In five innings of work, he allowed just one run on five hits while striking out five batter and walking two. It was the lefty's first Triple-A win in eight total starts between this year and last.

Blue Jays Update

Toronto (29-51) are closing out their four-game series in New York against the Yankees today. RHP Trent Thornton is on the mound for the Blue Jays.
