
Biscuits reorder roster

Montgomery Biscuits News Release
The Montgomery Biscuits have announced several roster moves. INF Gabriel Martinez has been placed on the temporarily inactive list. LHP Mike Prochaska has been promoted to Class AAA Durham (International League). INF Hunter Vick has been received from Rookie League Princeton.
Martinez has left the team to play in the World Cup for Puerto Rico. Martinez joins catcher Chairon Isenia as the two Biscuits to play in this years' World Cup Tournament. In two stints with the Biscuits, Martinez hit .233 (67 for 288) with 8 home runs and 45 RBI.
Prochaska was received August 27 from Class A Visalia but did not pitch in a game for the Biscuits. In 26 games for the Oaks, the left-hander posted a 4-12 record with a 5.12 ERA (147.2 IP, 171 H, 97 R, 84 ER, 49 BB, 103 SO).
Vick hit .235 (39 for 166) with 16 RBI and 7 stolen bases in 49 games for the Princeton Devil Rays.
The Biscuits roster now stands at 23 active players.
