Grady Little to manage the Diamond Jaxx indefinitely

Jackson, TN- Former major league manager Grady Little will manage the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx in the absence of Bobby Dickerson on an interim basis for an indefinite period of time. Dickerson is currently back at his home in Laurel, MS cleaning up in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Little is in his second year with the Cubs organization. He is a special assistant to player development and a roving catching instructor. Little has sixteen years experience as a minor league manager, compiling a record of 1054-903. Eight of his teams advanced to post-season play.

Little also has four years experience as a major league bench coach with Boston and Cleveland. However, Little is best known for his two years as the manager of the Boston Red Sox. From 2002-2003, Little compiled a 188-136 record and led Boston to the American League Championship Series in 2003.
