Benson Set to Return to Giants Lineup

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Giants captain Tyler Benson is expected to return to the lineup today when the Giants host the Kamloops Blazers at the Pacific Coliseum. Face-off is set for 5:00pm.

Benson, who was listed as 21st amongst North American skaters on NHL Central Scouting's Midterm Rankings, hasn't suited up for the G-Men since December 30th, due to a lower body injury. The 17-year-old Edmonton, Alberta native also missed the BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game at the Rink on Renfrew as a result of the injury.

Benson has scored eight goals and 18 assists in 28 games with the Giants this season.
