Game Story
The Regina Pats got on the board early, opening the scoring just .23 second into the game. Cole Sanford notched his 29th of the year and in doing so, extended his consecutive game points streak to seven. Sanford would extend the Pats lead to 2-0, twelve minutes later, on the power play. Edmonton would get one in the first thanks to Dario Meyer at the 14:30 mark. However, that would be as close as Edmonton would get. The second would remain scoreless despite some good chances for both teams, including a three on one rush for Regina, and Edmonton having a two man advantage for 1:14. Chase Harrison would add to the Pats lead in the third to seal the victory. The Oil Kings outshot the Pats 20-8 in the third and 49-31 overall. With the win, Pats Goaltender Tyler Brown has now won seven straight.
