The third period saw the only two goals of the contest and both came off the stick of Railers skaters.
A miscommunication between Dubeau and Matt Petgrave led to Nic Pierog taking the puck and firing it into the net to beast Dubeau for the 1-0 lead ay 4:44.
With time winding down and the net empty, the Railers would take advantage of a whiffed clearing attempt and Dante Salituro would hit the open net to seal the deal 2-0.
