Beast Receive Jacklin for Leboeuf

BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John's IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that defenseman Guy Leboeuf has been traded to the Elmira Jackals to complete the Beast's acquisition of forward Scott Jacklin.

Jacklin, 25, has appeared in three contests with the Beast since his acquisition on December 11 and has yet to record a point.

The Kimberley, British Columbia native is in the midst of his first season in the professional ranks and had already collected five goals and five assists in 16 games with the Jackals.

From 2011-12 to to 2014-15, he was a mainstay with the NCAA's Robert Morris University where he was an impact player, recording 48 goals and 59 assists over 143 games played.

Leboeuf, a Deerfield Beach, Florida native, suited up for 20 games on the Beast blue line this season and recorded one assist and 13 penalty minutes. He joined the Beast during the 2014-15 season and cracked the lineup for 34 games and notched two assists and 17 penalty minutes.

The Beast will hit the ice at the Powerade Centre in Brampton on December 27 and 28 to take on the Reading Royals. Single game tickets are now available, starting at $16.25.
