The Oilers will head to Intrust Bank Arena tonight to battle the Thunder for the third time in eight days. After splitting a pair (each gathering a win and a loss) to Wichita last weekend, the Oilers claimed a 3-1 victory in Allen, TX against the Americans on Monday night.
ROLLING MEADOWS NATIVE ON A ROLL
Rookie forward Dan DeSalvo is currently on a four game point streak. DeSalvo joins the Oilers this season in his first professional season after time with Bowling Green State University (14 goals as a freshman) the last four years. The Illinois product has played in 23 games with the Oilers and has registered 18 points (6 goals, 12 assists).

Goaltender Kevin Carr has started in each of the Oilers' last 12 games and ranks fourth in the ECHL. With 1,076 minutes played this season, Carr is 10-7-1-0 with a 1.95 goals against average. He is second in the ECHL with most minutes played.
AXEL AND AARON ACQUIRED
Last week, the Tulsa Oilers were assigned rookie defenseman Aaron Harstad and rookie forward Axel Blomqvist from the Manitoba Moose. Harstad, native of Wisconsin, has played in seven games for Manitoba this season and now six for the Oilers where he has produced two goals and two assists since his arrival. The Colorado College product was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the seventh round (187th overall) in 2011. Straight out of Sweden, Blomqvist joins the Oilers after 10 games with the Moose and has one goal in his first game as an Oiler as well.
