December 26, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Indy Fuel News Release

Moline, IL - Captain Zach Miskovic scored the game-winning goal to cap a two point night and Peter Schneider scored twice as the Indy Fuel topped the Quad City Mallards 4-1 at the iWireless Center on Saturday night.

Miskovic's goal came on a slapshot from the right point at 6:39 of the third period that found the top left corner of the net. Coupled with an assist on Rhett Bly's goal later in the period, Miskovic registered his second multi-point outing in as many games, posting two goals and four points in his last two games.

Schneider bookended the Fuel (12-15-2-0) scoring, starting things off with a power play goal 10:47 into the contest. The Klosterneuberg, Austria native tipped a Nick Mattson point shot between the legs of goaltender Brody Hoffman (38 saves) for the 1-0 lead. He also capped the scoring with an empty net goal at 19:44.

Quad City's lone goal came on the power play at 16:21 of the first period when Matt Carey scored from the right wing on a low wrist shot past Mac Carruth (20 saves).

The same two teams go back at it Sunday afternoon at 3:05 pm at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Morellis Cleaners Pre-game Show starts 15 minutes before every puck drop on CBS Sports 1430.

- Tonight was Schneider's first two-goal game of the season, and his second multi-point effort.

- Miskovic has recorded back-to-back multi-point games for only the second time in his pro career, the last time being with Hershey in November of 2009 when he totaled five assists over a two-game span 11/28 and 11/29.

- Indy is now 3-1-1-0 against the Mallards this season, and tonight's win was the team's first at iWireless Center.
