Chesapeake Baysox News Release

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today the 12th annual Scout Camp Out at Prince George's Stadium Friday, June 18, after the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 7:05 p.m. Tiger, Cub, Boy and Eagle scouts and their families can purchase discounted tickets and food vouchers for the event, be recognized on the field before the game and spend the night in a tent in the outfield.

Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers is taking reservations for the event. "The camp out is one of our biggest events of the year," Rogers said. "Tent space is limited and we require that people reserve their place ahead of time. With a parade before the game and a fireworks display after, this year's camp out is sure to be a blast."

Scouts and their parents can purchase lower reserved seat tickets for $10 (regularly $14) and upper reserved seat tickets for $7 (regularly $9-$11). In addition to the tickets, the team is offering a pair or discounted food vouchers for the game. To order the discounted tickets and food vouchers, and to reserve room to camp in the outfield, fans can contact Chris Rogers at (301) 464-4855.

The Baysox will recognize the scouts during a pre-game parade and every participant receives a special participation badge. After the game, scouts can pitch stake-less tents in the outfield to camp for the night and enjoy a movie on the stadium's video board.
