ROSTER UPDATE:
Two players were assigned to Bakersfield today from the Iowa Chops (AHL). F Matt Caruana, a rookie out of Niagara University who played in five regular season and 13 playoff games at the end of last season for Portland (AHL), and G David McKee are both on their way to Bakersfield. The Condors trimmed the roster today, releasing F Kyu-Hyun Kim, F Jimmy Blixt and F Alex Hult. The Condors now have eight players under AHL contract on their roster.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Condors and Wranglers face off for the second time in three nights this preseason. The Wranglers won the first match-up in a shootout, 5-4, at Orleans Arena on Thursday night. The Condors have gone 13-24-5 in 42 games against their Pacific Division rivals in team history, and went 4-5-1 in 10 games against Vegas last season. The two teams are set to meet nine times in 2008-09, with five games on the Condors Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena and four in Las Vegas.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance tonight will receive a pair of Lightning Stix, courtesy of ESPN Radio 1230.

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322- 2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
