Bachelor Auction to Benefit Make-a-Wish Foundation

GREENVILLE, S.C. – If you want to know which member of the Greenville Grrrowl lists Beef Jerky as his favorite food and which player's ideal date is a day on the water, then join us on Thursday, February 6th at East Court Grill in Greenville for the First Annual "Star 103" Bachelor Auction to benefit the "Make-a-Wish Foundation". The auction starts at 7:00 PM.

Four members of the Greenville Grrrowl, including MICHAEL GARNETT, ALEX BURROWS, MARK GOUETT and JOSH LEGGE, will be a part of the auction. Other bachelors scheduled to be auctioned off for dates include players from the National Basketball Development League's Greenville Groove, a police officer, a bartender, a college student and "Star 103" afternoon personality, Jesse.

"We are happy to help raise money for a great cause like the Make-a-Wish Foundation", said ScheerSports Chairman and Chief Executive Officer CARL SCHEER. "The bachelor auction is a great concept, and we're pleased to be involved with Entercom Radio, the Make-a-Wish charity and East Court Grill."

"Star 103" Promotions Director APRIL WHITE added, "We wanted to do something special and different near Valentine's Day. The idea just evolved, and we're happy to help the ‘Make-a-Wish Foundation'. It should be a lot of fun for everyone, and we're grateful to have the Grrrowl and Groove players involved."
