
Express Trade Stayzer to Dayton

ROANOKE, VA â The Roanoke Express traded forward Blair Stayzer to the Dayton Bombers, it was announced today. In return, the Express will receive future considerations from Dayton. In 15 games with Roanoke, Stayzer picked up two goals and three assists, and compiled 42 penalty minutes.
Stayzer, 22, was acquired by the Express from the Mississippi Sea Wolves on November 14. The Dunnville, Ontario native scored three points in 13 games with Mississippi to begin the year. A seventh round draft pick in 1999 by the Calgary Flames after playing four years in the Ontario Hockey League, Stayzer began his professional career with the Johnstown Chiefs. After spending two seasons in Johnstown, the winger was acquired by Mississippi prior to the 2002-03 season. Overall, during his three-year career, he has 21 points in 109 games.
