Summerlin, NV - Despite a solid outing from starting pitcher Jeff Criswell, the Albuquerque Isotopes saw their bats silenced as they were held to three hits in a 6-0 loss to the Las Vegas Aviators on Thursday night.

Aviators right-handed pitchers Norge Ruiz, Joe Wieland and Colin Peluse each tossed three innings to combine for the shutout.

Topes Scope: - Albuquerque was shut out for the first time since June 30, 2022, a 15-0 decision vs. Sugar Land.

- Fernando Abad allowed two runs in the eighth inning on a homer by Tyler Soderstrom, and his streak of nine consecutive scoreless appearances (spanning 11.2 IP) ended.

- Hunter Stovall saw his 16-game hit streak come to an end with an 0-for-3 evening. It was tied with three others for the longest hitting streak in Minor League Baseball in 2023.
