English Drives in All Four Aces' Runs, Jameson Deals in 4-1 Win

Tacoma, WA - Tristin English hit a decisive three-run homer and added an RBI single in a 4-1 Reno Aces (21-15) victory over the Tacoma Rainiers (17-19) Thursday night at Cheney Stadium.

English launched a 408-foot blast to left center in the second to give Reno an early 3-0 advantage. The newest member of the Aces lineup went 3-for-4 and accounted for nearly half of the team's hits.

Drey Jameson pitched six strong innings of one-run ball in a winning effort. Jameson struck out five and allowed the lone run on a groundout in the second, extinguishing a potent Tacoma lineup.

Carlos Vargas, Raffi Vizcaíno, and Austin Adams averted damage with three shutout innings and five strikeouts in relief.

The Aces took a 3-1 series lead with the win and look to clinch the seven-game set Friday at 7:05 p.m. PT.
