
Austin Spurs Acquire Trey Gilder

AUSTIN (Jan. 28, 2015) - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, today announced they have acquired small forward Trey Gilder off waivers. Gilder will join the Austin Spurs on Friday when the team hosts the Idaho Stampede at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.
Most recently, Gilder (6-9, 185, Northwestern State) appeared in three games in Venezuela for the Trotamundos de Carabobo basketball team where he averaged 4.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 16.3 minutes. He appeared in two regular season NBA games with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009. His D-League career includes stops in Colorado (08-09), Maine (09-10), Albuquerque (2010) and Sioux Falls (2012). In total, Gilder has appeared in 129 D-League games averaging 15.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists. In his senior year at Northwestern State, he led the team in points and rebounds earning him All Southland Conference First Team honors in 2007-08.
