Bighorns Acquire Ty Walker Rights from Erie

RENO, NEV., Jan. 28, 2015- Today, the Reno Bighorns agreed to trade the returning player rights to Mickell Gladness to the Erie Bayhawks in exchange for the returning player rights to Ty Walker.

Walker (7'0", 230), played collegiately at Wake Forest University (2008-2013) where he averaged 4.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game his senior year.

Walker joined the Maine Red Claws in 2013 after attending a local tryout. Walker was then traded to the Erie Bayhawks in 2014.

During Walker's time with Erie, he averaged 5.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

The Bighorns return home this weekend with a two-game homestand Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. at the Reno Events Center. The Bighorns will take on the Santa Cruz Warriors.
