
August 12 T-Bones Game to be Broadcast Live on Metro Sports

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones are excited to announce that Metro Sports will broadcast the August 12 game versus the Lincoln Saltdogs live on Metro Sports and Metro Sports HD.
The T-Bones will use Friday, August 12 to celebrate the career of Frank White, an eight-time Gold Glove winner and member of the Royals Hall of Fame. White will be on hand for the festivities, and will throw out the first pitch prior to the game. He will also be available during the game to meet with fans and will take part in a FREE autograph session. On the field, every T-Bones player will wear White's famous #20 jersey.
"We are excited to partner again with Metro Sports and Time Warner, and to show off our product and CommunityAmerica Ballpark to sports fans throughout the metro area," T-Bones Vice President and General Manager Chris Browne said. "Metro Sports is a key player in the local sports scene and we want to be a part of that."
Metro Sports is part of the Kansas City division of Time Warner Cable. A 24-hour all-sports television network, Metro Sports can be found on channel 30 (310 digital) and in high-definition on channel 1310. Metro Sports is also on Comcast (channel 258) and Knology (channel 37) cable systems in the greater Kansas City area.
