Sioux Falls Canaries News Release

SIOUX FALLS - The Sioux Falls Pheasants and McDonald's of Sioux Falls and Brandon have teamed up for a special "Take My Jersey Night" promotion on Saturday, August 27th at 6:05 PM when the Pheasants host Winnipeg.

For the next four home games of the season, Pheasants players will wear new, specially-designed jerseys. The game-worn uniforms will be given away through a raffle during Take My Jersey Night on August 27. Fans will have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of 24 player or coach jerseys.

100% of the proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Dakota, the charitable arm of McDonald's that provides housing for families of children under long-term hospital care.

In addition to the jerseys, fans can also bid on other sports memorabilia items, including an autographed vintage photo of Minnesota Twins legend Harmon Killebrew, a rare Babe Ruth commemorative edition collector's baseball and trading card and an autographed football from Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. All the proceeds from these items will also benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Dakota.

The Sioux Falls Pheasants are a division of Sioux Falls Sports, which has donated well over $500,000 to various charities since 1999.

Fans can preview the jerseys during the upcoming weekend series between the Pheasants and the Sioux City Explorers, August 12-14. Tickets are available by visiting the Pheasants box office in person or through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com.
