
Area Wal-Mart Stores Carrying Monarchs T-Shirts

MANCHESTER, NH â A new line of Monarchs T-shirts are available for purchase at area Wal-Mart stores for the rest of the 2004-05 season, the Manchester Monarchs, the top affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced on Tuesday. "We're currently testing the market to see how successfully our merchandise sells outside of the Verizon Wireless Arena," said Monarchs Merchandise Manager Jason LaBossiere. "We're selling one basic adult T-shirt for $12.99, with plans to increase the product line to sweatshirts, youth T-shirts, hats and more."
The T-shirts, officially licensed by the American Hockey League, will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores in Bedford (17 Colby Court), Concord (344 Loudon Road), Derry (30 Manchester Road), Hooksett (1328 Hooksett Road) and Manchester (3000 Keller Street) for the remainder of the season.
The Monarchs (25-6-2-1, 53 points), in the middle of a season-long seven-game homestand, are scheduled to host the Utah Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Wednesday, January 5. After that, the Monarchs will host the Lowell Lock Monsters at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, January 7 and the Hartford Wolf Pack at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, January 9 at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
Ticket Availability: 350 seats in the Gold level and 3,000 seats in the Silver level remain for the Monarchs game against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, January 5...60 seats (singles) in the Gold level and 1,000 seats in the Silver level remain for the Monarchs game against the Lock Monsters on Friday, January 7 (The first 5,000 fans attending the game will receive a free Max All-Star Bobblehead doll, courtesy of Pepsi)...60 seats (singles) in the Gold level and 380 seats in the Silver level remain for the Monarchs game against the Wolf Pack on Sunday, January 9.
