FRIDAY IS FIRE SAFETY/TRIBUTE TO HEROES NIGHT

At Friday night's Phantoms game against the Syracuse Crunch, the first 4,000 fans in attendance will receive a free fire safety pack. It will also be Tribute to Heroes Night, which includes an on-ice tug-of-war contest during the first intermission between local Fire and Police Departments.

NEXT TELEVISED GAME ON FRIDAY

Comcast SportsNet will air its seventh of 10 Phantoms games this season when the Syracuse Crunch visit the Wachovia Spectrum on Friday. Flyers radio announcer Tim Saunders will handle the play-by-play duties, while Flyers color commentator Steve Coates will provide his insight into the game. Coverage for the game begins at 7:00 p.m. The next televised game will be on Saturday, Feb. 5 when the Phantoms are in Wilkes-Barre to face the Penguins.

SHARP TO RECEIVE PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD FRIDAY

Center Patrick Sharp was chosen as the Toyota Phantoms Player of the Month for December, and will receive his award from Chief Operating Officer Frank Miceli prior to Friday's game with the Syracuse Crunch. Sharp led the team in scoring last month with 12 points (6G, 6A) in 11 games, and continues to lead the team in overall scoring with 29 points (14G, 15A).

BARBER, BIALOWAS TO BE HONORED SUNDAY AT FIRST HALL OF FAME NIGHT

The Phantoms will be honoring former head coach Bill Barber and legendary tough guy Frank "The Animal" Bialowas as the first two members of the team's Hall of Fame. There will be a special Hall of Fame induction ceremony prior to their game on Sunday, Jan. 9 vs. the Albany River Rats at the Wachovia Spectrum. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m., with the opening puck drop taking place at approximately 5:20 p.m.

WIN-ONE-GET-ONE-FREE NIGHT ON SUNDAY

It will be the third annual Win-One-Get-One-Free Night on Sunday, Jan. 9. If the Phantoms defeat the Albany River Rats, all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to Philadelphia's game on Wednesday, Jan. 12 vs. the Binghamton Senators. If the Phantoms are victorious, fans just have to bring their ticket stubs to the game on Jan. 12 and trade them at the Wachovia Spectrum box office for a free ticket to see that night's contest. The ticket stubs will not be redeemable prior to Jan. 12. Philadelphia is 2-0 in previous Win-One-Get-One-Free Nights.

BARBER ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" THIS WEDNESDAY

Former Phantoms Head Coach Bill Barber will be the guest on the Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM). Barber is being inducted into the Phantoms Hall of Fame on Sunday, Jan. 9 prior to the game against the Albany River Rats.

· Bill Barber will be The Philly Guys' guest on WMMR (93.3 FM) on Thursday at 7:30 a.m.

· Frank Bialowas will be on Comcast SportsNet's Daily News Live on Thursday at 6:15 p.m.

PHANTOMS POSTGAME SHOW ON SUNDAY WITH BARBER AND BIALOWAS Can't get enough Phantoms action? Then stick around for The Phantoms Postgame Show at Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant. Hosted by David Unkle of the Topcat Sports Show on WNJC 1360-AM, the Phantoms Postgame Show lets you get up close and personal with your favorite Phantoms player following 24 games throughout the season. The next show will take place on Sunday, Jan. 9 with newly inducted Phantoms Hall of Fame members Bill Barber and Frank Bialowas. TWO PHANTOMS PLAYER CLINICS THIS WEEK

Phantoms defenseman Dennis Seidenberg will be instructing the Glaciers hockey team at the Faceoff Circle in Warminster, Pa. from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the latest Phantoms Player Clinic. On Wednesday, defensemen Randy Jones and Stephen Wood will be helping to teach the Delaware Jr. Blue Hens team at the University of Delaware from 6:40-7:40 p.m. Over 60 kids are expected to be at each clinic. Phantoms Player Clinics are sponsored by Carrabba's Italian Grill.

AHL ALL-STAR BALLOTING UNDER WAY

2005 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic Fan Balloting, presented by CCM, is under way exclusively on the official website of the AHL, www.theahl.com. Fans can vote in their favorite players to take part in the event, which will be held at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H., from Feb. 13-14. By voting, fans can enter for the grand prize of a game-worn autographed jersey from the contest.

TEAM BRACELETS & PUCKS FOR KISSES

Comcast-Spectacor Charities is now selling special team-related silicone bracelets of the Phantoms, Flyers and 76ers. The bracelets can be purchased at home games or ordered through the individual team websites, including www.phantomshockey.com, or by calling 215-389-9426. Each bracelet is a different color and has a different word for each team, including the purple "Dream" bracelet of the Phantoms, and each is $2 apiece.

In addition, Comcast-Spectacor Charities will be selling Flyers Alumni Pucks & Kisses from Jan. 7-Feb. 11. Priced at $20 apiece, the pucks can also be purchased at home games or ordered by calling 215-389-9426.

PHANTOMS HOLDING CONTEST FOR LAWN SIGNS

Now is your chance to help promote the Phantoms in your community. Pick up your own lawn sign, which reads, "Phantoms Hockey – Home Tonight!" at the Phantoms offices or at any home game. Simply place the sign in front of your home, work or anywhere else to let people know that there is a Phantoms home game that night and that they should not miss any of the action! The team is also running a contest for the most creative location, so send in your pictures!
