Americans Take Part in Toys for Tots Collection

Allen, Texas - The ECHL Kelly Cup Champion Allen Americans took part in a Toys for Tots collection last night in Allen. This was the sixth annual Toys for Tots collection drive at Allen Event Center.
Allen Americans players Joel Rumpel, Mike Gunn and Justin Courtnall were on hand, along with Ice Angels Cassie, Laura, Stashia and Jessica to help collect the toys that were delivered to the Event Center last night. They also helped hand out free ticket vouchers to a future Americans game for those who donated.
"Helping out at the Toys for Tots event at the AEC was such an inspirational and rewarding experience. Just getting to see the generosity of the community coming together to help make a child's Christmas better was spectacular. I am thankful to be a part of the Allen Americans organization that supports these events, and those alike, to better the lives of others right here in our neighborhoods." - Allen Americans Ice Angel, Cassie
The Allen Americans are home on Sunday to play the Idaho Steelheads at Allen Event Center for Ugly Christmas Sweater Day in Allen. The specialty jersey worn during the game will be auctioned off immediately following.
