
Americans Take on Cougars for Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss Game

The Americans will host the Prince George Cougars at the Toyota Center for the 20th annual Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss game. Over the years, the Americans hold a 14-4-0-0 record with one tie on Teddy Bear Toss night.
Tri-City has already played the Cougars twice this season as they traveled to Prince George in November. The two teams split the doubleheader weekend with the Americans taking victory the first night and the Cougars winning the second game.
Jake Sloan leads scoring against the Cougars scoring two goals and adding one assist. For the Cougars, Ethan Samson has the most points against the Americans with one goal and two assists.
Tonight is the final of a five game road trip for the Cougars. They played last night in Spokane taking a 4-2 victory over the Chiefs.
The Americans also played on the road last night, falling 8-2 to the Everett Silvertips. Petr Moravec and Jake Sloan recorded Tri-City's goals, both scored on the power play.
On the most recent Teddy Bear Toss Night in 2019, Americans fans set a Toyota Center record with 4,917 stuffed toys thrown on the ice.
