Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans played three straight against the Tulsa Oilers last week, before welcoming the Missouri Mavericks to Allen Event Center on Sunday. Allen went 3-0-0-1 to improve to 14-4-0-1 on the season, and extending their lead over second place Tulsa to four points.

Tuesday, December 2nd @ Tulsa, 7-4 Win
Tulsa, Oklahoma - Chad Costello scored two goals, while Jack Combs and Greger Hanson each had a goal and an assist to lead the Allen Americans to a 7-4 victory at the BOK Center. It was Allen's third straight win in Tulsa.
Wednesday, December 3rd vs. Tulsa, 5-1 Win
Allen, Texas - The Americans returned home for another meeting with the Oilers and continued where they left off on Tuesday, outscoring Tulsa 5-1 with two more goals from Chad Costello and Raphael Girard's first pro win. Girard stopped 28 of 29 Tulsa shots to earn the victory.
Friday, December 5th @ Tulsa, 5-4 SO Loss
Tulsa, Oklahoma - Kyle O'Kane tied the game for Tulsa late in the third, and then the Oilers won it in a shootout to beat the Americans for the first time on their home ice all season 5-4. Chad Costello and Ian Schultz each had a goal and an assist in the loss.
Sunday, December 7th vs Missouri, 6-1 Win
Allen, Texas - Gary Steffes scored his team leading 13th and 14th goals of the season to lead the Americans to a 6-2 win over Missouri at Allen Event Center. Greger Hanson added a shorthanded goal and two helpers in the victory.

Matchup - The Allen Americans will play two games at Allen Event Center this week, with the first on Wednesday night against Quad City. This is the first meeting between the two clubs since Allen eliminated the Mallards from the post-season last May. The Americans will face Brampton for the third time this season on Saturday night in Allen. The Americans are 2-0 against the Beast.
