EVANSVILLE, Ind.- Here's what's happening with the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light.

Myles Bell scored a goal and added two assists, but the IceMen could not contain Garrett Bembridge who posted a four-point night to help the Indy Fuel to a 5-3 win.

Friday, Dec. 5 Vs. Kalamazoo L 5-2

Kalamazoo struck three times in the first period to claim a 3-0 lead. Branden Komm stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced in relief and the IceMen scored twice in the final period, but it was not enough to overcome the early deficit as they lost by a 5-2 final to the K-Wings

This Week's Games (Friday, Dec. 12 vs. Fort Wayne 7:15 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13 vs. Fort Wayne 7:15 p.m,

The IceMen will host their rivals, the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday and Saturday at the Ford Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. as the IceMen continue their six-game home stand.

Friday's game will also be the IceMen's first What Would You do For A Grand Contest presented by Midwest Communications and Crosspointe Insurance Advisors. Fans are welcome to submit what they would do to win $1,000. The three best submissions will show the crowd what they are willing to do during intermission of the IceMen's game against Fort Wayne. Saturday night will be the annual Teddy Bear Toss at the Ford Center. Buy a teddy bear and throw it on the ice when the IceMen score their first goal of the game. These teddy bears will then be donated to 9-1-1 Gives Hope. Fans that bring a teddy bear can get $10 upper bowl tickets (1 ticket per bear).

Plus D-Patrick Downtown will be hosting its first ever IceMen tailgate party on Saturday from 4-7 p.m. Stop by the D-Patrick parking lot before the IceMen game for face painting and free hot dogs. Don't worry about the weather because the parking lot will have heaters to keep fans warm.

Team Notes

- Evansville is 7-2-0-1 when scoring 3 or more goals.

-The IceMen are 8-1-1-0 when holding opponents to three goals or less.

-Evansville averages 3.78 goals per game at home where they will play their next five games.

-The IceMen have outscored opponents 13-4 in the third period at the Ford Center. They have bested opponents 24-13 in the final stanza this season.

League Leaders

-Myles Bell leads the IceMen with 8 goals and ranks fourth amongst rookies in this category. Bell stands 15th among rookies in points with 14.

-Kevin Harvey ranks second in the ECHL in major penalties with eight. He is fourth in the ECHL with 74 PIM.

-The IceMen boast the league's 6th highest attendance with a 5,144 fan average.

IceMen in the Community

IceMen Live Monday, Dec. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Beef O' Brady's

Catch another exciting episode of IceMen Live at Beef O'Brady's on Monday night from 6-8 p.m. interviews will include Coach Dwight Mullins, Defensemen Daniel Johnston, and Troy Rutkowski. Additionally, Mullins, Johnston, and Rutkowski will answer questions from the fans.

IceMen Season Ticket Holder Christmas Party, Dec.9 at Ellis Park 6-8 p.m.

Season ticket holders can celebrate the holidays with the IceMen with an exclusive party in the clubhouse at Ellis Park. There will be an Ugly Sweater Contest, where the ugliest Christmas sweater will win a prize. The IceMen players, coaches will be will be in attendance and signing autographs. Also, Santa Claus will make an appearance.
