Sivak Gets Second Call to Bridgeport

Stockton, Calif - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, have announced that forward Peter Sivak has been recalled by the Sound Tigers according to Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Rich Kromm.

Sivak, 32, is recalled from loan in the midst of an eight-game point streak that has Sivak score 5 goals and add 6 assists. In his first season with the Stockton Thunder, Sivak is tied with linemate Tyler Shattock for third on the team in points with 18.

The former Kelly Cup Champion is two games shy of playing his 150th career ECHL game. The forward makes his way across the country for the second time this season as he was recalled from loan by the Sound Tigers and played games on November 1 and 2, scoring a goal in his first game with his new AHL team.
