
Agua Caliente Clippers Acquire Demarcus Holland

The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario today announced that the team has acquired guard Demarcus Holland from the South Bay Lakers in exchange for Agua Caliente's 2019 First Round Draft Pick, pending a physical.
Holland, 24, has appeared in 12 games (six starts) for the Lakers' G League affiliate this season, averaging 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 28.3 minutes. He appeared in 62 games (51 starts) over two seasons with South Bay, averaging 8.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 26.0 minutes. A four-year product of the University of Texas, Holland was named to the 2014 Big 12 All-Defensive Team. He holds collegiate averages of 5.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 135 appearances (92 starts) for the Longhorns. Undrafted in 2016, Holland had 2018 NBA Summer League stints with the Lakers in both Las Vegas and Sacramento.
