
Admirals Make Roster Moves

Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Patrick Leahy to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. In addition, the Admirals announced that they have signed goaltender Michael McKenna to a PTO and reassigned goaltender Scott Reid to the New Mexico of the Central Hockey League (CHL).
Leahy played in one game with the Predators and did not register a point in 5:46 of ice time. The Brighton, MA native has posted 10 points (6g-4a) and 18 penalty minutes in 23 games for the Admirals this season. Leahy appeared in 49 NHL games with the Boston Bruins in 2003-04 and 2005-06, registering four goals and four assists (4g-4a-8pts).
McKenna comes to the Admirals have recently being named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week in two out of the last three weeks for the Las Vegas Wranglers. In 15 games so far this season McKenna has posted a 9-1-5 record with a 2.27 goals against average, a .927 save percentage and a pair of shutouts. The St. Louis, MO native had a 4-2-1 mark with a 2.13 GAA in seven games last year for the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL.
Reid notched a 3-6 mark and a 2.88 goals against average with a .897 save percentage in 11 appearances with the Admiarls. The Grand Prairie, ALTA native posted his first career AHL shutout versus Manitoba in a 2-0 win on October 20th. Reid was 1-1 with a .944 save percentage in a pair of games with Milwaukee last season.
The Admirals are back at the Bradley Center on Wednesday, December 13th at 7:00 pm versus the Grand Rapids Griffins for their first home game in three weeks. The Admirals will be collecting toys for donation to Toys-For-Tots and any fan that brings in a new or gently-used toy will receive a coupon good for a discount to a future game.
On Sunday, December 17th at 5:00 pm the Admirals will host the Griffins again and all seats in the 400-level have been discounted to just $2 and all the proceeds from those tickets will be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. In addition, $2 from every lower bowl ticket will also be donated to Boys and Girls Clubs.
