
'Dogs continue road trip in Rochester and Syracuse

The Hamilton Bulldogs (15-10-0-1) continue their six-game road trip with back-to-back games this weekend. First Hamilton travels to Rochester on Friday, December 15th for a tilt with the first-place North-Division Americans (19-5-1-0) at 7:35 p.m. at Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial. The Bulldogs then take on the Syracuse Crunch (8-16-0-1) at 7:30 p.m. at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, December 16th.
The 'Dogs posted a 3-1-0-0 record in four games last week. Hamilton opened the week with a 5-3 win in Toronto against the Marlies on Wednesday night (Dec. 6). The Bulldogs then played three games in three nights winning 2-1 in a shootout against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at Copps Coliseum on Friday (Dec. 8), dropping a 6-3 decision in Rochester against the Americans on Saturday (Dec. 9) and blanking the Crunch 2-0 in Syracuse on Sunday (Dec. 10). The 'Dogs are currently in second place in the North Division Standings with 31 points in 26 games this season.

PLAYER NOTES - G Jaroslav Halak recorded a 2-0 shutout on Sunday against Syracuse (Dec. 10), not only passing Steve Passmore for the franchise lead in all-time shutouts with eight, but also posting his fifth shutout of the season, tying him for the single-season franchise record with former 'Dog Eric Heffler (1999-2000) and current teammate Yann Danis (2004-2005)
- RW Andrei Kostitsyn posted five points (1-4-5) in four games last week
- RW Duncan Milroy notched four points (2-2-4) in four games this week and currently leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 26 points (12-14-26) in 24 contests this season
- G Yann Danis picked up two wins in three games this week with a save percentage of .937 while being named the game's first star on Friday against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Dec. 8)
