Admirals Launch Auction for Honorary Coaching Positions During Admirals Alumni Game

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals today launched an online auction where fans can bid to be an honorary coach for the Admirals Alumni Game on February 21.
Two honorary coaching positions - one for Team White and one for Team Blue - are up for bids right now on norfolkadmirals.com. The high bidders will take their place behind the bench during the entire Alumni Game. They will also receive an Alumni Game Prize Pack consisting of the same Welcome Package that the Alumni Game Players receive.
The auction will last until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Those who would like to participate should visit norfolkadmirals.com for details on how to register and place a bid.
The Admirals Alumni Game will take place on Saturday, February 21 at 3:00 p.m. at Norfolk Scope Arena. Individuals who purchase tickets for the Admirals game against the Binghamton Senators for later that evening will be able to use those tickets for admittance to the Alumni Game. A meet and greet for fans and the Alumni Game participants will take place at 5:00 p.m.
The Admirals return to Scope on this Friday and Saturday nights to face off against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The puck drops on both nights at 7:15 p.m.
