Crunch Sign Left Wing Kevin Harvey

Syracuse, NY (February 4, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed left wing Kevin Harvey to an American Hockey League contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Harvey, 24, has appeared in 24 games for the Crunch this season, tallying four goals, three assists and 123 penalty minutes. He has also skated in 23 games with Reading (ECHL) this year, notching three goals, seven assists and 122 penalty minutes.

A native of Sheffield, Ontario, Harvey was playing under a professional tryout contract that he signed with the Crunch on December 11, 2008.

The Crunch's next game is Wednesday, February 4 as they travel to Hamilton to take on the Bulldogs. The Crunch return home on Friday, February 13 to battle Grand Rapids at the War Memorial at Oncenter at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
