Admirals Acquire Former ECHL All-Star Walker from Rapid City

NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, have acquired forward Brenden Walker from the Rapid City Rush, the team announced on Monday.

Walker, 24, had 18 points through 22 games with the Rush thus far this season. The 6'0" - 172 lbs. right-handed winger has 111 total points in 145 games with 155 penalty minutes. In 2014-15, Walker was named to the ECHL All-Star Game as a member of the Gwinnett Gladiators. Last season, Walker played for the Coventry Blaze of the Elite Ice Hockey League in the United Kingdom. There, he registered 16 points in 19 games.

Brenden is expected to join the team on their upcoming road trip to Greenville and South Carolina on Wednesday and Friday this week. A jersey number will be announced for him shortly.
