Boise, ID- Four unanswered markers in 12:47, including Bryan Miller's first goal of the season in overtime, pushed the Aces to a shocking 4-3 win over the Steelheads in front of 4,481 fans at Qwest Arena on Friday night.

The Steelheads (2-2-5) are now winless in four games after having coughed up a third period lead for the fifth time in seven games. The Aces (6-2-1), who came from behind to win on Wednesday in the series opener, are now 4-1-1 on the road and remain in first place in the West Division.

The comeback started at 11:01 of the third period when Kimbi Daniels converted off a Steelheads' turnover and beat Steve Silverthorn (12 saves) for his third of the season. Defenseman Joey Hope got the only assist. Just over six minutes later Daniels was at it again, beating Silverthorn five-hole off a pass by Josh Soares. Soares then tied the game 38 seconds later, with Daniels and Matt Shasby grabbing the helpers on Soares' left circles wrist shot. Miller's overtime winner came after Bo Cheesman fired a slap shot wide of the cage but the carom came free to Miller who beat Silverthorn. Ryan Glenn got credit for the second assist.

The Steelheads potted the only goal in the first period, tallying on the power play at 6:59 with Lance Galbraith scoring his second of the season. Darrell Hay grabbed the only assist as he fed the puck to Galbraith through center and the seventh-year pro moved into the Aces' zone and snapped a shot from the left circles over the glove of Aces' goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu (28 saves).

Darrell Hay added a power play goal at 5:26 of the second period to make it 2-0. Greg Rallo and Marty Flichel picked up the assists on Hay's second of the season.

It became 3-0 on a rush by the Steelheads at the 14:24 mark. Off an Aces' offensive zone turnover, Mark Bomersback was the recipient off a Matt Craig offering and he beat Beckford-Tseu with a snap shot over his blocker. Kory Scoran picked up his second assist in as many nights on Bomersback's second of the series and team-leading seventh of the year.

The Aces managed only one shot in the second period, while the Steelheads peppered Beckford-Tseu with 14 chances.

For the contest, the Steelheads out-shot the Aces 31-16. The Steelheads killed off all seven Aces' power plays and converted on two of their seven chances, while dropping to 2-1-3 when leading after two periods.
