West Valley City, Utah – The ‘E' Center, in conjunction with the West Valley City Fire Dept. and United Concerts, is proud to announce that $1,193.90 was raised to help the tsunami disaster relief effort during the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert on Thursday, December 30.

Several West Valley City firefighters "passed the boot" through the audience, collecting donations from ‘E' Center concertgoers. Captain Bob Fitzgerald expressed that "the West Valley Fire Dept. is always glad to be part of the community. We are happy to do anything that we can to help".

With more and more details becoming available about the devastating losses in Thailand and south Asia, many people were moved to be part of the support effort.

"It just goes to show you how masses of people can combine their resources to make a larger impact", said ‘E' Center General Manager Kevin Bruder. "We want to thank our audience not only for purchasing close to double the number of tickets compared to last year's show, but more importantly, for their generosity during this important time of need."
