Edmonton Road Runners News Release

The Edmonton Road Runners have acquired forward Eric Beaudoin from the San Antonio Rampage in exchange for forward Joe Cullen.

Beaudoin, a 6'5", 220-pound Ottawa, Ontario native, has played 53 career NHL games (Florida Panthers), collecting 11 points (3-8-11) and 41 penalty minutes. In 32 games for the Rampage this season, Beaudoin has 10 points (6-4-10) and 21 penalty minutes.

Road Runners' General Manager Scott Howson says, "As a young player, Eric has already shown he can contribute at the AHL level. He's a forward with good size who can add some offence to our lineup."

Last year, the 24-year-old split the season between the Panthers and Rampage, recording career-highs in goals (20) and points (42) in 38 games with San Antonio.
