2005-2006 Schedule Released

Johnstown, P.A. (June 20, 2005) - The ECHL announced on Monday the 2005-2006 playing schedule.

The Johnstown Chiefs open the season at home on Saturday, October 22nd when they host the Reading Royals. The Chiefs first three games are at home.

Twelve of the Chiefs seventy-two games will be played out of the division including their first ever west coast road trip. The Chiefs will play six games in eight days out west as they play a pair of games in Las Vegas and San Diego and a game each in Bakersfield and Fresno.

The former Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies franchise, now the Stockton (C.A.) Thunder will make an appearance in Johnstown on Wednesday, November 16th. East division teams South Carolina (Nov. 18), Charlotte (Dec. 20), Columbia (Dec. 31), and Greenville (Mar. 5) will also play in the War Memorial this season.

With the departure of the Atlantic City and Peoria franchises, the Chiefs will play their North division foes (Dayton, Reading, Trenton, Toledo and Reading) a total of twelve times. Home game times will be announced at a later date.
