
15th Annual MDA Jersey Auction Night Presented by PAPCO Inc. Raises over $30,000

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals and PAPCO Inc. raised more than $30,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association on the 15th Annual MDA Jersey Auction Night presented by PAPCO last Saturday at Scope.
A total of 35 special edition, game-worn Admirals jerseys auctioned to fans for a total of $31,975. Five jerseys available for fans to bid on in silent auction form during the game raised $4,425. The evening's main event, the post-game jersey auction, allowed fans to bid on unique Admirals jerseys right off the players' backs immediately after the game. The post-game auction generated $27,550. A list of winning bids on their respective jerseys in order of presentation is below:

During the game versus Albany, a silent auction on the concourse gave fans the opportunity to bid on the jerseys of former Admirals Igor Bobkov, Marc Cantin, Dany Heatley, Steve MacIntyre and Brad Winchester. The silent auction concluded at a total of $4,425.
With the grand total of $31,975, the event eclipsed the $500,000 mark in its 15-year history as one of the most popular promotions on the Norfolk Admirals' calendar. Every penny raised from both the silent auction and jersey auction was donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The Admirals play host to the Hershey Bears this Friday and Saturday, the last back-to-back weekend set of the 2014-15 season. Friday's game is preceded by the 2015 Admirals Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony scheduled to take place 15 minutes before the 7:35 p.m. puck drop. Saturday's contest at 7:15 p.m. follows the 2015 Guns & Hoses Game slated for 3:30 p.m. The Admirals' 2014-15 Team Poster Giveaway is also on Saturday as well as a Post-Game Skate with the Admirals.
