ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks have recalled right winger Stefan Noesen from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

Noesen, 22, has not yet appeared in an NHL game, but has been successful at both the AHL and junior hockey levels. After battling injuries last season and the first half of 2014-15, Noesen contributed 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 23 games for the Admirals this year to go along with 23 penalty minutes. Last year, the Plano, Texas native went scoreless in two regular season games, but scored four assists in as many games in the playoffs. Prior to turning pro, Noesen spent four years with the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League, where he compiled 220 points (100 goals, 120 assists) in 215 contests.

Norfolk hosts a back-to-back series against Hershey this weekend, set to start tonight at 7:35 p.m. when the Admirals induct Randy Pearce into the Hall of Fame.
