July 15, 2026 - Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals announced today that they have acquired 2008-born forward Filip Novak from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for Victoria's 2028 and a 2030 3rd round selections. Novak, who hails from Chomutov, Czechia, is a prospect for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL, having been drafted 206th overall in the 7th round of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. July 14, 2026 - Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals announced the signing of 2007-born forward Marek Peroutka to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Peroutka, who stands at 6'4, 194 lbs., was selected by Victoria with the 58th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2026 CHL Import Draft on June 30th. Hailing from Most, Czechia, Peroutka grew up in the HC Litvinov system, playing this season primarily for the U20 team and making his Men's league debut this past February. Royals Sign Blues Prospect Vladimir Proskurin to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement

July 13, 2026 - Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals announced the signing of 2008-born goaltender Vladimir Proskurin to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Proskurin, who hails from Moscow, Russia, is a St. Louis Blues prospect that was drafted 123rd overall in the 4th round of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.
