October 24, 2025 - CHARLOTTE, NC- The Checkers couldn't slow down the red-hot Penguins Friday night, falling by a final score of 4-0.

October 24, 2025 - The Charlotte Checkers announced today the club has recalled goaltender Evan Cormier from the ECHL's Savannah Ghost Pirates.
In addition, the Florida Panthers have assigned goaltender Kirill Gerasimyuk from Charlotte to Savannah.
Cormier, 27, has posted a 1-0-1 record this year with the Ghost Pirates so far this season, amassing a goals-against average of 3.92 and a save percentage of .849.
