September 19, 2025 - JACKSONVILLE, FL - As the 2026 IFL season approaches, the Sharks continue to upgrade the roster by welcoming back a familiar face, but also are introducing some new talent to the Tank. DB Lacarea Pleasant-Johnson re-signs for his second season with Jacksonville alongside rookie OL Yoesph Carter.
Pleasant-Johnson had a season high 6.5 tackles and one assist against San Antonio in 2025. He also recorded four solo tackles, four assists and one defended pass in the two other games he played last season.

September 17, 2025 - JACKSONVILLE, FL. - The Sharks have officially secured another defensive weapon with the re-signing of DL Chris Rice. He started off his rookie season as a key player on the Sharks defense.
Rice made his mark as a major force each weekend he was on the field. He recorded 17 solo tackles and 35 assists, 3 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss. He also forced two fumbles, recovering one.

September 15, 2025 - The Jacksonville Sharks have announced their first Free Agent Tryout for the 2026 season, giving aspiring professional athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Sharks coaching staff.
The tryout will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. ET, with the tryout beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET.

LB Noah Martin, a former NFL prospect from Samford University, and WR Billy Bowens, also a Pro-Day attendee from Boise State, head to the Sunshine State to bring their skills to the Tank.
