Costantini, Savage & Ratzlaff Head to AHL Rochester

December 12, 2025 - JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans announced today that forwards Redmond Savage and Matteo Costantini have been recalled to Rochester. In addition, goaltender Scott Ratzlaff has been reassigned by Buffalo to AHL Rochester. Redmond "Red" Savage, 22, returns to Rochester where he has totaled two points (1g, 1a) in five games played this season. Martin & Van Wyhe Score Twice as Icemen Top Ghost Pirates 6-5

December 12, 2025 - SAVANNAH, GA - Craig Martin and Garrett Van Wyhe each scored twice to help guide the Jacksonville Icemen to a 6-5 road win over the Savannah Ghost Pirates Thursday evening at Enmarket Arena. Just before the three-minute mark the Ghost Pirates garnered the game's first goal on Hunter Johannes's first tally of the season to give his team a 1-0 lead. This Saturday's Teddy Bear Toss Game to be Televised Locally

December 11, 2025 - JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Icemen are pleased to announce that this Saturday's Teddy Bear Toss game (December 13) against the South Carolina Stingrays will be televised locally by Action Sports JAX on MyTV JAX 30. The Annual Teddy Bear Toss is presented by Community First Credit Union and is one of the most anticipated games of the season. Icemen Add Former NHL Defenseman Steve Oleksy Ahead of this Weekend's Games with Atlanta

December 5, 2025 - JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Icemen, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans announced today that the Icemen has agreed to terms with forward/defenseman Steven Oleksy. Oleksy, 39, brings a wealth of high-level experience to the Icemen lineup this weekend having collected 20 points (3g, 17a) in 73 NHL appearances split in stints with the Washington Capitals (2012-2015) and Pittsburgh Penguins (2016-17).
