Bakersfield, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks today recalled LW Kyle Calder from the Bakersfield Condors, their ECHL affiliate. Calder is the second player to be recalled directly to the National Hockey League from Bakersfield this season. Calder, 30, was assigned to Bakersfield on Oct. 28 and made his season debut Nov. 5 in Las Vegas. He joined up with the Ducks today on their current road trip but is not in the lineup tonight in Detroit, where Anaheim is battling the Red Wings. The nine-year NHL veteran has six points (3g-3a) with a +4 in five games with the Condors. He scored a goal in Friday night's victory over the Alaska Aces prior to being recalled.
