Wolf Pack's Pink Stick Auction Raises $1,100 for Breast Cancer Research

HARTFORD, October 29, 2007: The Hartford Wolf Pack is proud to announce that an auction of an autographed pink hockey stick at the Wolf Pack's home game this past Friday, October 26th raised $1,100 in support of breast cancer research.
The winning bid was made by Anthony Pelliccio of North Haven, CT, and the funds will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The auction was hosted by Kim Green, a breast cancer survivor and former chair of the Komen CT Race for the Cure. The stick was signed at this year's New York Ranger training camp, and featured the autographs of Jaromir Jagr, Brendan Shanahan, Henrik Lundqvist, Michal Rozsival, Sean Avery, Petr Prucha, Blair Betts, Ryan Hollweg, among others.
The Wolf Pack return to action with back-to-back home games this Friday, November 2nd, vs. Worcester, and Saturday, November 3rd, vs. Toronto (both 7:05 starts).
Wolf Pack single-game tickets are on sale at the Hartford Civic Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Filene's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall.
