96.5 TIC Releases Acoustic CD to Benefit Wolf Pack Foundation

Hartford, November 12, 2004: Musicians and hockey players have joined forces to lend a hand to children's charities in the Greater Hartford area. The 96.5 TIC Acoustic Café-Volume IV CD is available now at selected outlets throughout Connecticut.
Proceeds of sales go to the Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation. The Foundation's mission is to help fund charitable and non-profit endeavors that support inner-city youth, amateur sports, and promote the health, education and well being of Connecticut's children. In three years, sales of the CD have raised more than $65,000.
The disc features eleven of today's most popular musical artists recorded acoustically, including: John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Five for Fighting, Barenaked Ladies, Sarah McLachlan, The Calling, Maroon 5, Guster, Melissa Etheridge, Live, and Richard Marx.
Buy the CD at Strawberries and FYE locations in Connecticut, Big Y World Class Market locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts stores, FootPrints Family Super Shoe Store in Newington, and at the Hartford Wolf Pack retail store for only $9.65. Each CD includes a voucher worth $16.50 for a free ticket to see a Wolf Pack game at the Hartford Civic Center.

locations:
Tuesday, November 16 at the Farmington Strawberries from 4pm-6pm
Wednesday, November 17 at the Rocky Hill Big Y from 4pm-6pm
Thursday, December 2 at the Bloomfield Strawberries from 4pm-6pm
Saturday, January 3 at the Manchester Big Y with SONAR from 4pm-6pm
The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack hockey club is part of Madison Square Garden LP. Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
